Beatrice is a brilliant teacher and sculptor. She is very encouraging and inspires her students to produce amazing work. Everything is provided: clay, work station, 'daisy wheel', a huge variety of tools, books on sculpture etc. In short, I highly recommend her sculpture workshops!

The 3 hour workshop with Beatrice was great! She gave us a real insight into form, techniques and how to use the variety of tools that help shape the clay. Not one of the four of us had done any sculpture before and we found that we learned fast and somehow managed to produce some objects which we were genuinely all proud of! Beatrice’s enthusiasm, patience and expertise had a lot to do with it. A great family experience that we won’t forget and may well inspire us to go on to do more sculpting!

I started going to classes with Beatrice in 2015 and have enjoyed every minute. I love the calming effect of moulding the cool clay, Beatrice's gentle guidance and instruction, not to mention the encouragement of fellow students in the class. It is always an unbeatable feeling, seeing your efforts transform the clay into a pleasing form you can be proud of.

I recently spent two Friday mornings with Beatrice, learning how to sculpt. Beatrice is an excellent teacher who provides lots of help and instruction to get you started and guide you towards good habits. I thoroughly enjoyed my two lessons but, more importantly, Beatrice helped me to decide to commit more time to art (and sculpture specifically) and refocus away from work being my priority the whole time. I thoroughly recommend the workshops.

I am really enjoying the workshops so far. Beatrice is a great teacher who let's you learn as you go along, so it doesn't matter if you are a complete novice or an experienced artist. The atmosphere is very calm and friendly and I look forward to my weekly session.

Beatrice's Sculpture workshops are fabulous! She is a wonderful and inspiring teacher, that even absolute beginners like me feel free to 'give it a go', and explore our creativity. It's a giddy mix of play and learning, all in a wonderful almost magical atmosphere. Great fun and highly recommended!

A combination of a beautiful setting and a great teacher. Beatrice manages to teach not only the skills but also another way of 'looking' which can be applied to other fields. The workshops are always a place where one can slow down, concentrate and enjoy the company of like-minded people (not to mention the great coffee and biscuits:)

I attended lessons with Beatrice for two terms. I thoroughly enjoyed each session, not just for the skills I gained, but also for the relaxation the experience provides. Beatrice is a highly knowledgeable teacher as well as a wise and warm person. She thoughtfully creates a stimulating atmosphere and has a careful eye on each student. Her ability to read people allows her to give the right amount of guidance and space for each individual. My 15 year old daughter also attended 2 classes and immediately connected to the setting and the teaching.

Beatrice is an inspiring teacher who gives you the confidence to be creative. The sessions are relaxed and friendly, but you learn such a lot…. smooth squidgy clay and tools that are great fun to use. There are loads of books and artefacts for inspiration too. I’ve been for several terms because I find it so absorbing and addictive, and in that time I’ve seen students produce beautiful sculptures… often surprising themselves! I would recommend everyone to give it a go!

Beatrice is a wonderful teacher who is calm, patient and inspiring. She has helped guide me through the process of sculpture which has enabled me to get back to being a creative person after many, many years away from creativity.
She advises on a number of different techniques and always explains why we do a particular technique. When helping to improve your work she explains the art theory behind her advice but always allows you to evolve your work -just with the help of her expertise :-)
I have had such a great time doing two terms of sculpture and I am looking forward to more!
